An international humanitarian organization is seeking a Disease Related Nutrition Consultant to support field teams in managing malnutrition related to medical conditions. The consultant will develop guidelines and provide technical assistance. Candidates should possess a background in nutrition, relevant humanitarian experience, and fluency in English and French. The position offers a 12-month contract, with some remote work flexibility.

We are looking for a Disease Related Nutrition Consultant, to support our field teams.
Mission
The consultant will work on the theme of hospital malnutrition related to medical or surgical illness, non-communicable disease, and hospital dietetics. Their mission is to develop guidance and provide technical support for MSF field teams on how to prevent and/or manage patients with disease related malnutrition.
Roles:
Work in areas of nutritional support related to medical or surgical illness, prevention and management, pediatric and adult, inpatient and outpatient.
There will also be support on dietary issues related to healthcare facilities.
Reports to: Nutrition Advisor
Status: 12-month fixed-term contract – 20% one day per week with access to Paris and potentially a few short field visits. Remote work is possible.
Conditions: HQ contract, according to MSF field salary scale, based on seniority and experience

Profile required
Education/Experience: Nutritionist by training Emergency humanitarian field experience, such as MSF
Languages: English, French, B2-C1
