What will be your role?

We are fast growing and we want to do so healthily. Our Mission is to oversee internationally all digital design within Schneider Electric, to Elevate design at scale to a core role to create meaningful Schneider Electric experiences. We are looking for a design operations manager to scale design impact by leading a multidisciplinary ops team and partnering closely with leadership to strengthen design execution and collaboration with product and tech teams. You will set operational priorities, structure scalable processes, oversee key projects, and strengthen collaboration across design, product, and service teams. Acting as a strategic partner, you will build strong foundations in people, processes, and practices, while coaching teams toward operational excellence.

You will be responsible for :

  • Scaling design impact through projects, people, and processes:
    • lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary ops team aligned with strategic objectives.
    • define operational priorities for design and research teams, and support the evolution of collaboration models between design and product.
    • oversee key initiatives, track operational KPIs, and deliver strategic reporting to demonstrate the impact of design operations on delivery, quality and collaboration to leadership.
  • Driving alignment and cross-functional collaboration:
    • align design and research teams, and enable effective collaboration with product, tech, and business teams through clear operational frameworks.
    • streamline and optimize collaboration processes across teams to enable execution at scale.
    • foster a creative, collaborative, and continuously improving culture.
  • Leading operational excellence:
    • identify and prioritize operational challenges and opportunities across projects and teams.
    • oversee programs improving operational quality, team experience, and business alignment.
    • coach teams and stakeholders to adopt best practices and scale design operations efficiently.

This job has been tailored for you if you :

  • you have at least 3 years of successful experience in a similar position, combining strong expertise in design operations and team management.
  • you have already contributed to structuring design organizations within a product, design, or digital environment.
  • you are passionate about scaling design impact through projects, people, and processes, and coaching teams toward operational excellence.
  • you have strong leadership, organizational, and strategic skills.
  • you have experience collaborating closely with product, tech, and business leadership.
  • you are fluent in English (French is a plus) and comfortable operating in an international environment.

Even better if :

  • you have led cross-functional change initiatives and driven operational transformation across teams.
  • you are comfortable analyzing data and business metrics to inform decisions.
  • you have owned and mastered OKRs or other strategic performance frameworks, driving alignment and measurable outcomes across teams.
