The ideal candidate will be fluent in French and English, knowledgeable about the aerospace industry, and have strong mechanical and supply chain skills. Responsibilities include supporting OEM sites and enhancing operational processes.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the French aerospace industry is a plus.

Delivery Assurance Field Representative - Aero-Engine Parts

Job Requirements:

Evaluate and ensure that supplier-produced Aero-Engine parts are delivered to customers as per agreements, supporting engine build schedules.

Identify bottlenecks and capacity constraints to develop improvement and mitigation plans for better on-time delivery from suppliers.

This hybrid role involves aspects of Supply Chain management, procurement, manufacturing, and quality assurance.

Candidates must be fluent in French and English, possess a valid driving license, and be willing to travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Supply Chain Management and Production Planning for OEM sites and suppliers mainly in France and throughout Europe.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of operational processes and focus on enhancing organizational effectiveness.
  • Drive solutions to meet customer needs with determination, self-motivation, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Communicate effectively to remove barriers preventing timely delivery of parts.
  • Lead projects and collect data on key indicators like RM availability, WIP, quality notifications, and supplier tracking.
  • Build relationships with partners, customers, and suppliers to achieve results.
  • Manage multiple projects, collaborating across departments and management levels.
  • Gather feedback and identify new improvement initiatives with Supplier Development Leaders.
  • Understand products and operational processes at assigned suppliers.
  • Analyze process and part data through detailed observations.
  • Monitor MRP tools, production schedules, WIP, and non-conformances, providing forecast plans.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and disseminate information as needed.

Work Experience and Skills:

Mechanical Skills:

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes like forging, casting, assembly, machining, and special processes.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical data.
  • Experience with process planning and production readiness reviews.
  • Familiarity with operating instructions and control plans.
  • Understanding of lean methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of material packaging and handling.

Supply Chain Skills:

  • Experience in supply chain management, production planning, quality, and operations.
  • Familiarity with operating instructions and control plans.
  • Customer-facing experience.
  • Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of shipping and distribution processes.

Production / Procurement Skills:

  • Understanding of part qualification requirements like PPAP, FAI, RCCA.
  • Knowledge of production processes including machining, assembly, CMM, and BOM.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Skills in planning, raw materials, inventory, tools, and procurement.

Desired Experience:

  • Knowledge of the French aerospace industry.
  • Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies like Lean, DMAIC, Six Sigma.
  • Formal auditing qualifications.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, including GD&T and critical characteristics.
  • Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.
