Overview

DataDome stops cyberfraud and bots in real time, outpacing AI-driven fraud across your sites, apps, and APIs. The DataDome tech team is spread across Europe and the US. We handle over 2 000 billion events per day with responses within 3ms (99p) and are deployed in more than 35 data centers worldwide using Docker.

The team

We’re looking for a Data Scientist to join the Threat Research Team, which is responsible for constantly improving detection capabilities through advanced algorithms and data-centric approaches.

Your role

Your goal will be to challenge and improve our detection capabilities.

You will be more specifically in charge of:

  • Collaborate with other team members and implement new approaches to improve fraud detection across DataDome’s products
  • Challenge ML usage at DataDome
  • Build new Data Science approaches and go to production to challenge frauds in real-time
  • Keep up to date on Data Science topics (research papers, state of the art on ML applied to cyber security) and share knowledge with the team/externally (meetups, conferences)
  • Automate detection processes using advanced algorithms
  • Contribute to Data Science best practices and processes definition
  • Uncover data insights for the business:
    • Contribute to data modeling to build advanced analytics flow for Machine Learning or statistical applications
    • Feed business teams with insights related to the detection
    • Develop bots to competition’s positioning and capabilities relative to bot detection
What you will look like

We look for someone who has:

  • First experience in applied Data Science
  • At least 2 years of experience programming in Python
  • SQL knowledge
  • Strong computer science background
  • Data Scientist methodology and mindset
  • A "hacker" spirit
  • Good communication skills (oral and written)
  • Experience dealing with bots or malware
  • Previous experience in a Cyber Security company
  • Knowledge of web and network infrastructures
