Data Science Intern
Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and motivated Data Scientist intern to join our R&D team who will help us bring diagnosis algorithms to the next level.

Philips-Cardiologs is developing algorithms based on Deep Learning to help physicians to diagnose cardiac diseases. As a Data Scientist intern you will work with a large and complex dataset to improve the performances of our algorithms in production.

Responsibilities
  • Design high-performance production-ready algorithms
  • Implement robust validations for the algorithms
  • Use the outputs of machine learning models to deliver valuable features to our customers
The team

You’ll be working with a team of 6 data-scientists working on developing arrhythmia detection networks for the Philips Cardiologs Holter Platform, our cloud-based arrhythmia diagnostic software.

Qualifications
  • Have an autonomous, committed, enthusiastic engineer/creative
  • Are Completing a MSc in mathematics, physics or computer science, with a "can-do", and challenging mindset
  • Have already worked with Python and Git
  • Have worked on previous deep learning / machine learning projects
  • Are fluent in spoken and written English, and have at least basic notions in French
