A Day in the Life

As a Corporate Intelligence Business Analyst within our M&A team in France, you will join a “strategic strike team” at the heart of the Group’s external growth strategy. Your mission is to provide sharp data and analysis to top management to identify and assess acquisition targets, nurturing L’Oréal's growth and equity story.

You Will Make a Direct Impact By
  • Driving M&A Strategy: Produce high-level financial and strategic analyses to support target identification and evaluation for senior leadership.
  • Analyzing Growth Opportunities: Lead the analysis of key projects, exploring new growth areas, and assessing potential acquisition targets and innovative business models.
  • Delivering Critical Insights: Autonomously structure complex problems, synthesize diverse data sets, and provide clear, actionable insights to support the M&A decision‑making process.
  • Shaping Key Deals: Act as a key partner in the M&A process, providing critical analysis for target evaluation and due diligence.
We Are Looking For
Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic thinker with a strong business sense and the ability to operate with autonomy. To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Master’s degree in Business or Engineering, with a solid financial education.
  • Proven experience in M&A, strategy, private equity, or corporate finance, with a strong background in financial analysis.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a talent for structuring a problem and delivering data‑driven recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English and French.
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with modern visualization tools (like Looker or Power BI) and AI tools is a strong plus.
