Who we are :

INDEFI is a fast-growing strategy consulting firm that serves financial investors (private equity specialists generalist asset managers wealth managers etc.). Established in 2007 we are a team of 80 consultants headquartered in Paris Lyon and Madrid!

We are operating through three business units :

• Sustainability : We help our clients define and deliver their Responsible Investment strategy and operating model. We work across the value chain to support investors and portfolio companies to define and embed their chosen approach to ESG and sustainability impact
• Private Equity : We help private equity firms make better investment decisions at every stage of the deal life cycle and build greater returns. We also advise on investment firm strategy and development creating value through improved performance.
• Corporate strategy : conducting strategic development projects for global asset managers including business strategy market entry distribution strategy new product development non-organic growth and investment process enhancement

As part of our local and international development we are looking for postgraduate students or recent graduates from top-tier business and engineering schools / universities to join us as Strategy Consultant Intern Private Equity for our Lyon office for a duration of 6 months from January 26.

Mission

Driven by a senior consultant or a manager youll take part in several international projects that cover a wide range of challenging topics : market and competitive analysis strategic reviews business planning strategic and sustainability due diligences business development strategies

Your main responsibilities as Strategy Consultant will be

• Data collection and analysis;
• Field research and interviews with market experts;
• Support in the delivery of strategic recommendations at senior executive level.
• Attend meetings with clients and partners. As such you will be in contact with the main players in Asset Management and Private Equity in France and Europe.
• With seniority youll be invited to participate to intern projects depending on your aspirations

Your Profile

We are looking to strengthen our team with highly talented individuals showing a combination of exceptional intellectual ability analytical skills and business sense. The preferred candidates should be motivated to take responsibility quickly demonstrate an ownership mentality and an ability to seize opportunities and make a difference :

• Graduated from a top business or engineering school;
• Work experience at either strategy consulting firms strategy division or M&A department of international groups investment banks asset management or private equity firms Strong skills and experience in Microsoft PowerPoint and good knowledge of Excel;
• Good knowledge of Private Equity topics
• Full fluency in French and English is mandatory A good working knowledge of other European languages would be a plus.
• Start date : January 26
