Description du poste

Paris Regulatory Controllers are responsible for ensuring that Goldman Sachs’ France entities maintain adequate capital resources to meet the firm’s investment business commitments and to withstand the risks to which the business is subject, such as Market Risk, Credit Risk, and Operational Risk.

The Regulatory Reporting team handles the production of all internal and external prudential regulatory capital reporting for EMEA regulated entities. The current vacancy is for an associate within the Regulatory Reporting Production team, specializing in Capital, RWA, and Leverage ratio computations.

The Regulatory Reporting team is part of the Controllers department within the Finance division. It is a high-profile team involved in diverse areas, interacting with many other parts of the firm.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing daily calculation components of the regulatory capital position.
  • Preparing and analyzing information for ad-hoc requests.
  • Reviewing and presenting ACPR regulatory returns and external capital reports on a monthly/quarterly basis, including:

• French entities statutory regulatory returns (RUBA, CRT, IFR)

• Capital ratio calculations and reporting

• Financial statements of France entities

  • Preparing, reviewing, and presenting internal management information, such as:

• Monthly/quarterly regulatory capital internal committee decks

Skills
  • Attention to detail and effective time management are essential. Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment under tight deadlines is also required.
  • Strong computing skills, comfortable handling large data sets.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written, across various levels of the firm.
  • Ability to interpret complex regulatory rules and apply them practically.
