Description du poste

OpenMined is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation that brings together leading minds in AI, security, and privacy technology to develop open-source solutions that transform how data can be accessed and shared. Founded in 2017, we've grown into a global community of over 18,000 members working to ensure that privacy protection and AI innovation reinforce each other rather than undermine one another. We are driven by a simple challenge: the most valuable data for solving humanity's greatest challenges remains locked away due to privacy concerns, and we can change that through technology rather than compromise.

We’re looking for a Content & Community Manager with a developer advocacy mindset to help grow and engage our global community of privacy researchers, engineers, and early adopters. You’ll be the third member of our marketing team, joining at a time of growth and momentum.

This role is a blend of content strategy, community management, and lightweight developer advocacy. You’ll keep our channels active, our community connected, and our content aligned with what matters most—while using AI tools to stay efficient, agile, and creative.

  • 3–5+ years in community management, developer relations, software development, or content marketing.
  • Strong writing skills for short- and long-form content across multiple platforms.
  • Experience managing multi-channel content calendars in technical/developer spaces.
  • Technical fluency: can translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable using AI to speed up content creation and improve quality.
  • Effective, personable communicator—on Slack and on stage.
  • Experience working in fully remote, distributed teams.
  • Located in Eastern Time ±1 hr.

Bonus points:

  • Background in open-source communities or contributions.
  • Visual storytelling chops: lightweight video, memes, visuals.
  • You enjoy coding, but you love teaching and simplifying.
  • You have your own online presence or know how to activate others’.
  • You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and love to experiment.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow engagement across Slack, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, and other platforms.
  • Plan and execute multi-channel content calendars aligned with product and community initiatives.
  • Write, edit, and repurpose content for different audiences and platforms.
  • Coordinate with the product and marketing teams to adapt technical updates into community-friendly narratives.
  • Monitor community conversations, respond promptly, and surface valuable feedback to the team.
  • Track and report engagement metrics, using data to improve strategies.
  • Experiment with new formats and channels to increase reach and participation.
  • Use AI tools to speed up research, writing, and reporting workflows.
  • Mission-Driven Work: Be part of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, focused on social impact rather than profit, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference in the world.
  • Open Source Contribution: Make a real impact by contributing to an Open Source project that benefits a broad community.
  • Collaborative Global Team: Join a dynamic, international team that values collaboration and diversity.
  • Flexible Work Hours: Enjoy the autonomy to structure your work hours around what best fits your life and productivity.
  • Fully Remote Work: Work from anywhere in the world—no office or commute required.
  • Results-Driven Culture: Thrive in an environment that values efficiency and results over bureaucracy.
  • Flexible Paid Time Off: Take the time you need with flexible vacation days, alongside recognition of local national holidays.
  • Competitive Compensation: Receive competitive pay, with equity in salary across different regions.
