Job Summary

We are continually searching for great talent—individuals who possess a deep commitment to the customers and markets we serve. We are currently seeking an individual contractor to fulfill the role of Commissioner of Deeds in all areas of Prince Edward Island, including Summerside and other locations.

Reporting to the Business Process Management team, you will undertake the following responsibilities:

  1. Meet with lenders/customers at their branch.
  2. Witness and certify the validity of signatures on all mortgage and legal documents.
  3. Ensure a positive customer service experience.
  4. Maintain excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills.
  6. Manage confidential information responsibly.
  7. Have reliable email and cell phone access.
  8. Access to a reliable vehicle.
  9. Be flexible to work on an on-call basis, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Attendance at in-branch appointments is required to witness/commission documents, mostly during business hours. This role is ideal for someone seeking extra income.
