Responsibilities
- The Controlling Deputy Group Business Process Owner will reinforce the Controlling team at Group level, supporting detailed design activities, business preparation activities, communication and adhesion to Core Model principles, and change management activities.
- As the Controlling process is transversal, work closely with other GBPOs (R2R, O2C/TRY, S2P/R2P) to ensure performance management principles are well implemented in all processes.
- Manage interdependencies with other GEODIS stakeholders when the FIT project may impact other applications or ongoing projects, including:
- master data management with support from Global Data Domain Owners
- Management Accounting Blueprint (MAB) and ORACLE EPM with support from the EPM product owner
- Develop and maintain GEODIS network to obtain information on upcoming projects that may impact FIT.
- Engage in deployment-related activities, including localization of requirements and readiness in collaboration with Lines of Businesses (LoBs) & Regions Project Managers (LRPM) during Business preparation (prior deployment).
- Animate a community of local process owners and design the GEODIS core model in line with local requirements and SME insights, aligned with Group Controlling guiding principles.
- Identify and document topics to be arbitrated in Design Authority; promote and explain core model processes; gather gaps and change impacts; identify local regulatory or tax requirements.
- Provide guidance during the execution of the Data Migration strategy, in coordination with the Data migration lead, Deploy lead, and Local team.
- Assist in Change Management activities: act as an Ambassador of the Finance & Procurement Core Model, push best practices, and ensure core model principles are understood by the GEODIS Finance & Procurement community.
- Guarantee finance upskilling: change impact documentation, training support and facilitation, and participation in events where Core Model principles are explained (e.g., Kick-off, Town Hall).
- Participate in deployment activities of the Core Model in LoBs/Regions: fit-gap assessments, arbitration, core model maintenance, and monitoring of enhancements.
- Post-deployment, propose run activities for the Controlling Deputy Business Process Lead to ensure ongoing operations.
