Une entreprise internationale du secteur agricole recherche un(e) Digital Workflow Engineer possédant une formation en informatique et une solide expertise en développement. Vous aurez pour mission de créer des systèmes pour interagir avec la machinerie automatisée tout en assurant le développement et le débogage de logiciels dans un environnement R&D dynamique. Une expérience de 5 ans est souhaitée, avec une maîtrise des langages JavaScript et SQL. Ce poste inclut des interactions avec des équipes dans une serre et nécessite un esprit proactif et créatif.

CDD - Digital Workflow Engineer (F/H/NB)

Purpose

Our aim in Crop Protection chemistry is to unlock a new way to protect crops, food security and the environment and in doing so set a new benchmark in the industry as the need to find solutions to new and evolving challenges in global agriculture has never been so pressing.

Our CropKey approach has 2 main parts: Target Based Discovery and Profile Driven Discovery. Both of which are made possible thanks to breakthrough innovation, the advances in the life sciences and the huge progress in data-driven technologies such as Computational target discovery, new paradigm in screening, predictive early safety and digital chemistry.

Our group work collaboratively across the organization to enable data- and model informed innovation and decision making within the Bayer CropScience Small Molecules (SMol) group.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced R&D environment
• Create systems using Typescript, Node, and React to interact with automated machinery
• Design databases, SQL queries, and JSON APIs
• Provide feedback in the product design and specification process
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
• Responsible for code development, debugging, analyzing test results, implementation, support, and enhancement of automated system software programs used in agricultural research.

Who you are

• Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a programming field, database design, or server admin.
• Proficient in programming JavaScript/Typescript with 2+ years experience
• Proficient in SQL Query Development, Relational Database Design
• Proficient in JSON API development
• Experience with Git source control and GitHub Actions automation as well as Familiarity with Docker and Continuous Integration tools could be a plus
• Enthusiast, creative, proactive, bold and out-of-box thinking.
• High energy, clear goal orientation and strong work ethic; and a “can do” attitude.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written and oral communications skills. English is the main work language.
• Please be aware that this position will involve collaborating with teams in a greenhouse environment. You will be exposed to high temperatures, and elevated humidity levels. Candidates should be comfortable working under these conditions.
