Overview

The Booking Back Office plays a vital role in delivering unilateral services and facilities for Media Partners (MPs) during the FIFA World Cup 26. From managing requests in the Catalogue of Services (COS) to allocating resources across the Venues and the International Broadcast Centre (IBC), the Back Office ensures seamless delivery and technical support to Media Partners.

We are looking for an experienced Booking Back Office Manager to lead this operation. In this role, you will manage the set-up, processes, and daily operations of the Back Office team, working closely with the Booking Front Office and HBS technical departments to ensure Media Partners’ needs are met at the highest standard.

Location : Boulogne Billancourt – HBS office in Paris, then at IBC in Dallas USA (May 26)

Contract : CDD (fixed term contract)

Dates : 1st October 2025 – July 2026

What will I be doing?
  • Lead and manage a team of Back Office Supervisors and Coordinators delivering complex Booking operations.
  • Define processes, procedures, and tools for preparation and delivery phases of the FIFA World Cup 26.
  • Coordinate with HBS technical departments and service providers to set up and deliver Media Partner services.
  • Oversee preparation of technical documentation and leaflets to communicate service specifications to Media Partners.
  • Review and validate Media Partner orders, ensuring consistency, feasibility, and technical accuracy across : Venue and IBC services Broadcast Compound setups (OB Vans, cabins, flyaway kits) Contribution services (telecom and IP-based) Digital services, including server access for non-live content Satellite distribution services Streaming (SRT-based) offsite access to multilateral content
  • Finalise operational templates, reports, and instructions for technical teams at the venues.

  • Proven experience in Booking Back Office HB operations, ideally in a supervisory role.
  • Strong technical background in broadcast operations, with advanced knowledge of video / audio setups.
  • Understanding of telecom technologies for broadcast contribution and distribution.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and guide a strong team.
  • High sense of priorities, strong planning and organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Analytical thinker with attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
