The role involves leading engineering efforts, managing site operations, and ensuring financial efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in the BMS sector, a strong technical background, and excellent organisational skills. Knowledge of D365 is a plus. This is a contract position with a flexible day rate based on experience.

Job Description

BMS Project Manager (Data Centre’s)

A leading provider of smart building solutions with over five decades of industry experience is seeking an enthusiastic BMS Project Manager to join their team. This organisation is renowned for delivering intelligent control systems that enhance energy efficiency and sustainability across commercial buildings.

In this role, the appropriate BMS Project Manager will collaborate with a dedicated project team, managing the full lifecycle of projects, from Concept and Design through to Delivery and Optimisation.

What You’ll Be Doing in the BMS Project Manager role

• Lead the Design, Engineering, Planning, and Delivery of BMS projects
• Provide Technical and Commercial expertise across all project stages
• Support and guide a team of Managers and Engineers
• Develop and assess technical solutions, including product testing and evaluation
• Oversee site health & safety, ensuring full RAMS compliance
• Conduct site surveys and Client presentations
• Manage financial aspects including invoicing, purchase orders, and project variations
• Deliver regular progress reports and management updates
• Host and participate in monthly review meetings

What We’re Looking For in a BMS Project Manager

• Proven experience as a BMS Project Manager or similar within the BMS (Building Management Systems) sector
• Strong technical background: Electrical or Mechanical
• Confident in managing on-site operations and documentation
• Excellent financial and organisational skills
• Familiarity with D365 is highly advantageous
