A leading business school in France is seeking an Assistant/Associate professor in AI and Data Marketing. The position involves teaching across multiple academic levels, conducting research in collaboration with businesses, and publishing scholarly work. Applicants must have a PhD in marketing or related fields, strong research capabilities, and teaching experience in AI-related subjects. Its Marketing Department invites applications for one position at Assistant/Associate professor in AI and Data Marketing (research oriented).

Responsibilities
  • Teaching and educational development (undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate level)
  • Publication in academic and professional journals
  • Research Projects with companies or international institutions
  • Participation in national and international calls for projects
  • Student supervision and coaching
Profile and Skills Required
  • PhD in marketing or a related field PhD (or show evidence of being in their last year of PhD)
  • Strong research orientation, with a track record (or potential for the position of assistant professor) in top-tier international journals related to AI, Data Science and Marketing
  • Teaching experience in AI and Marketing, Big Data, Data Analytics and Visualization
  • Skills in programming (e.g. Python, R or other languages) and/or automation tools (including low or no code environments)
  • Strong interest in collaborative research within our Marketing & New Consumption research center, especially in areas as AI application to Marketing, data-driven consumer insights, consumer perceptions and acceptance of AI and data-driven technologies
  • Ability to teach courses in fluent English (French would be appreciated as well)

  • a teaching statement, including course details and recent course evaluations
  • a research statement
  • two references that can be contacted
  • for doctoral students in their last year of PhD, a letter from the thesis director indicating the state of progress of the PhD and the estimated date of defense
Compensations and Benefits
  • Permanent contract/ Full time
  • Status: Executive
  • Salary: to be negotiated /over 13 months / Bonuses (research, executive education, extra hours, etc.)
  • Paid leaves 35 days per year + 15 exemption days per year
