Overview

ASIC Architect | R&D / HPC / AI

Shape the Future of Tech for Good: ASIC Architect R&D. Join a leading technology innovator and be at the forefront of technological advancement, contributing to solutions that benefit society. As an ASIC Architect in the R&D team, you'll define the next generation of high-performance products for AI and HPC, working alongside top experts in a supportive and inclusive environment.

This position is located in one of the cutting-edge R&D centers in Clayes-sous-Bois, Bruyères-le-Châtel, Grenoble, or Sophia.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze AI and HPC application demands, bottlenecks, and market trends to propose performance-optimizing features for supercomputer clusters with high-speed networks.
  • Drive groundbreaking innovations in RDMA and high-performance interconnect technologies.
  • Develop innovative and cost-effective solutions to meet customer challenges.
  • Generate performance projections and cost analyses to guide project decisions.
  • Produce clear and comprehensive architecture specifications and champion quality assurance.
  • Collaborate closely with RTL design, verification, and software teams throughout the ASIC development lifecycle.
  • Partner with leading European research centers and start-ups to shape future interconnection technologies.
Required Skills
  • Master's degree or PhD in Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hardware development experience, ideally within HPC or data centers.
  • Deep understanding of large-scale distributed workloads (AI training, scientific simulation, etc.).
  • Proven ability to create practical and effective architectural solutions.
  • Beneficial knowledge in areas such as Ethernet, Infiniband, IP networks, parallel applications, server architectures (x86, RISCV, ARM), high-speed interfaces, network administration, and/or RTL design.
  • Hands-on aptitude for creating demonstrators, prototypes, or executable specifications (SystemC, C / C++, Python).
  • Excellent communication skills for diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Innovative, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus.
