We are looking for our next Treasury & Capital Management apprentice starting September 2025 at our AXA Headquarters!

Location: 25 avenue Matignon, 8th arrondissement Paris

AXA Headquarters consolidates the group's corporate activities and oversees global entities, ensuring strategic coordination, compliance with standards, and consistency in commercial approaches.

The Group Corporate Finance & Treasury department manages the Group’s financial resources (capital, debt, cash). A team of approximately 40 professionals works to understand and meet stakeholder expectations regarding capital levels, returns, and the optimal financial structure. The team optimizes sourcing, allocation, and utilization of capital and cash to support AXA and its businesses.

Within this department, you will join successively the Group Treasury and Group Capital Management teams as a Treasury & Capital Management apprentice.

Group Treasury:

The team manages (i) AXA's financing through capital markets, (ii) financial risks via hedging, (iii) AXA equity instruments and transactions, and (iv) AXA Group credit facilities and relationships with partner banks. They analyze, structure, and execute transactions across various markets and products.

Group Capital Management:

This team focuses on optimizing the use of capital across the Group, managing cash remittances, and steering the financial structure.

What You’ll Do
Within Group Treasury, you will:
  • Monitor market and economic developments, gather data, and produce analyses.
  • Analyze and report on open positions and risks, liaising with controlling teams and counterparties.
  • Follow market rates and developments, maintain visualization tools.
  • Support transaction preparation, from recommendation to execution, including intragroup pricing.
  • Participate in weekly treasury meetings, prepare minutes.
Within Group Capital Management, you will:
  • Contribute to defining and implementing the Group’s financial structure strategy.
  • Participate in capital allocation sessions.
  • Assist in producing and monitoring financial KPIs to evaluate the capital strategy’s effectiveness.
Your Profile

Who You Are

  • Currently applying for a master’s degree in finance.
  • Strong knowledge of finance, economics, and financial markets.
  • Analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office; VBA, Bloomberg, Power BI are a plus.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Previous experience in investment banking or corporate treasury is a plus.
