IÉSEG School of Management invites applications for adjunct positions in Philosophy within the Personal Development department on PARIS/LILLE Campus.
The objective of this course is twofold : on the one hand, to give the methodological tools specific to philosophy and in particular to ethical questioning, and on the other hand, to specifically question the function of philosophy in our daily lives. The aim is to understand and put into practice the philosophical method in order to shed light on our choices, our decisions, our motivations and our relationship with others and with the organizations in which we evolve. At the end of the course, students will have knowledge of philosophical theories and normative ethics allowing them to develop a personal analysis and to better understand contemporary personal and societal issues.

Applicants should either be PhDs Philosophy, or Ph.D. students in their last year, professionals with experience in the subject taught and at least a Master’s degree in Philosophy. Applicants must also be an expert in political philosophy and ethics as applied to technology impacts on society.
They are expected to show evidence of teaching skills and/or strong professional experience. The number of teaching hours offered can be compatible with other professional activities.
Applicants should be fluent in English as all courses at IÉSEG are taught in this language. Prior knowledge of French is not required.
Adjunct professors are expected to prepare courses, teach and evaluate students, working together under the supervision of a course coordinator. Experience in teaching is a plus.
