Une grande entreprise d'assurance recherche un responsable pour le département Comptabilité et Fiscalité. Le candidat devra gérer les opérations quotidiennes et produire des rapports financiers en conformité avec les normes françaises et IFRS. Une expérience significative dans le secteur de l'assurance ainsi que des compétences en gestion d'équipe sont essentielles pour ce rôle.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 ans d'expérience en comptabilité et production de rapports annuels.
  • Connaissance technique des rapports réglementaires dans le secteur de l'assurance.
  • Connaissance de la migration SAP ECC vers S4-Hana.

Responsabilités

  • Produire les clôtures trimestrielles sous le GAAP français.
  • Produire les rapports annuels et réglementaires.
  • Gérer une équipe pour aider aux activités du service.

Description du poste

The Tax and Accounting department being created, all tools and processes to conduct the daily operations as well as the production of different reporting are to be set-up.

The department will have the responsibilities of 3 legal entities in France: 1 insurance company, 1 reinsurance company and 1 MGA (not an insurance company), as well as its branch in the UK and subsidiaries (UK, Ireland, HK, Singapore).

The candidate, depending on his/her arrival, will have to recruit and manage his/her team to be able to conduct its activities (Payables and Receivables, Technical Accounting, General Expenses, Local GAAP statements, Regulatory reports, …).

Part of his role is to work closely with both the Tax Manager and the IFRS & Solvency II Manager as his / her inputs are needed for the Financial Statements (French GAAP and IFRS).

The main tasks (not limitative) would be to:

- Produce Quarterly closings under French GAAP

- Produce the annual and regulatory reports

- Ensure the daily operations are reflected in accounting

- Implement controls to ensure the correctness of the accounting

- Manage a team (number of FTE not yet known) to help with the activities of the service

- Participate in any project impacting the Accounting and Tax department

Technical and professional skills:

  • Strong accounting experience, including production of annual reports (minimum 7 years)
  • Strong knowledge of insurance business with production of regulatory reports (ENS, France Assureurs, etc.). Targetting minimum 7 years in insurance business
  • SAP knowledge (technical migration from ECC to S4-Hana in March 2026)
  • Strong analytical skills.
