BVNK is seeking a Managing Director to lead operations in Spain, guiding the company through expansion and compliance with local regulations. This role requires significant leadership experience in fintech or financial services, with a strong emphasis on strategic planning, stakeholder management, and business development. The successful candidate will work closely with global teams to build necessary infrastructure and develop the Spanish team's culture, driving innovation and revenue growth.

About This Role : As BVNK expands operations in Spain, we’re seeking a Managing Director based in Spain to lead the growth of our Spanish entity. You will be instrumental in operationalizing our new CASP license, scaling operations, and maintaining strong relationships with the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV). You will advise other business units on strategic initiatives related to the Spanish CASP.
Infrastructure Development : Collaborate with global teams to build scalable business infrastructure, including compliance, legal, banking, and technology frameworks.
Stakeholder Management : Build and nurture relationships with local regulators, financial institutions, and industry leaders to establish BVNK as a trusted regional player.
Operational Leadership : Manage daily operations, ensuring alignment with BVNK’s global strategy while adapting to local market conditions.
Leadership : Lead and develop the Spanish team, fostering a high-performing culture aligned with BVNK’s values and standards.
Strategic Planning : Collaborate with senior leadership to define the regional vision and develop initiatives to meet growth objectives.
Drive product and service innovation tailored to local business needs and market demands.
Business Development : Lead efforts to acquire key customers, form partnerships, and increase revenue in Spain.
Leadership Experience : 10+ years in senior leadership roles, with a history of scaling businesses, preferably in fintech, crypto, or financial services.
Experience in building operational infrastructure and managing cross-functional teams, including compliance, legal, finance, and technology.
A strategic mindset capable of balancing long-term vision with short-term execution in a fast-paced environment.
Commercial Expertise : Strong background in business development, sales, and partnerships with a proven record of revenue generation and high-impact deal closing.
Excellent Communication : Outstanding negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage complex business relationships.
