Position Overview:

As a Sales & Marketing Representative, you will play a key role in driving new business by generating sales leads, executing marketing strategies, and developing strong relationships with new and existing clients. You will engage with German-speaking clients, understand their needs, and present tailored solutions that align with their business objectives. Your ability to effectively communicate and close deals will directly impact the growth of the company and enhance customer satisfaction.

This is a hybrid/onsite role based in Barcelona, and the company will provide all necessary equipment, including a laptop and software, to ensure you can succeed in this role. Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales & Lead Generation: Proactively engage with German-speaking prospects through outbound calls, emails, and digital channels to generate leads and create new business opportunities. Qualify leads and schedule meetings to understand client needs.
  • Client Consultations: Work closely with clients to understand their sales and marketing objectives. Provide consultations on the most effective digital solutions, ensuring alignment with their goals.
  • Presenting Solutions: Present and demonstrate the company’s technology and digital marketing products to potential clients. Customize presentations to address each client’s unique business needs and goals.
  • Closing Deals: Convert leads into sales by effectively presenting solutions, addressing objections, negotiating pricing, and closing deals. Ensure smooth onboarding and handoff to the account management team after sales.
  • Market Research & Strategy: Conduct research on the German-speaking market to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity. Use this information to develop targeted marketing campaigns and sales strategies.
  • Marketing Campaign Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute campaigns aimed at attracting new clients. Utilize your insights into the German-speaking market to help shape these strategies.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for sales-related inquiries. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Reporting & CRM Management: Track sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions in CRM tools. Maintain accurate records and reports to provide management with insights on sales performance and trends.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with the account management, product, and customer success teams to ensure that client expectations are met and exceeded. Collaborate to ensure the successful implementation of digital solutions.
  • Continuous Learning & Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in digital marketing, sales strategies, and the company’s product offerings. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.
Requirements:
Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Language Proficiency: Native or near-native German (C2 level) and fluent English (C1/C2 level), both written and spoken. You should be comfortable engaging with German-speaking clients and communicating in a professional and persuasive manner.
  • Education: A BA/BS degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant work experience may substitute formal education.
  • Sales & Marketing Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a sales or marketing role, preferably within a technology or digital marketing company. Familiarity with SaaS or tech-related products is a plus.
  • Consultative Selling Skills: Strong ability to engage clients in meaningful conversations, understand their needs, and present tailored solutions. Proven track record of successfully closing sales and meeting targets.
  • Digital Marketing Knowledge: Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts, online advertising, and lead generation strategies. Experience in using digital marketing tools is an advantage.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You should be comfortable presenting and negotiating with clients at all levels.
  • Client-Focused: A passion for customer satisfaction and the ability to build and nurture long-term client relationships.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple sales activities, client interactions, and marketing campaigns effectively. Strong time management and prioritization skills are essential.
  • Team Player: Collaborative and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new challenges in an evolving market. Comfort with handling objections and providing solutions.
