A leading logistics firm is seeking a PLC Software & Integration Engineer to develop PLC software for inspection solutions. This fully remote role involves managing software development, collaboration with quality teams, and requires a minimum of 5 years PLC programming experience, particularly with Rockwell PLCs. Candidates should possess strong problem-solving and communication skills, as well as fluency in English and Spanish.
As a PLC Software & Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for developing unique PLC software for advanced vision system solutions. These solutions will be used to inspect Chep's products and will involve integration with a PC or server and communication with PLC devices. Additionally, you will also be responsible for improving and standardizing the programming process for PLC code in all existing and new designs. As a member of the Global Automation Inspection team, you will be involved in the entire development process for new technologies, from the evaluation and design stages to integration and site support.
