A leading e-powertrain systems company in Barcelona is seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to drive new business in the electric vehicle market. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of sales experience in the automotive industry, a background in engineering, and a proven ability to maintain customer relationships. Responsibilities include identifying business opportunities, achieving sales targets, and providing pre- and post-sales support. Fluency in English and local languages is essential, along with a willingness to travel frequently.

Formación

  • 7+ years of experience in sales/account management in the automotive industry.
  • Proven track record in successful B2B sales of complex multidisciplinary systems.
  • Familiarity with motors and motor controllers in the 2W/3W/4W industry is a significant advantage.

IRP Systems is developing the next generation of high-performance e-powertrain systems that will change the electric vehicle market, and we are seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager in Spain.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in electric market segment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and distributors.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and technical teams to understand product specifications and effectively communicate them to potential clients.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and proactive sales initiatives.
  • Provide pre‑sales and post‑sales support to clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform sales strategies.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Academic business degree or a related field in Electronics - must have.
  • Engineering background - must have.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales/account management in the automotive industry.
  • Proven track record in successful B2B sales of complex multidisciplinary systems.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and fostering client relationships.
  • Familiarity with motors, Motor controllers in 2W/3W/4W industry – significant advantage.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proactive, results-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
