Team Lead Procurement Governance, Operations & Service Management (m / f / d)

About the Job

As the Team Lead for Procurement Governance, Operations & Service Management, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with Allianz Technology's procurement standards, overseeing the performance & compliance of operational procurement processes which are outsourced to an internal service provider, as well as managing the relationship with the internal customers Global Sourcing & Procurement is serving. You will lead a small team to develop and implement governance frameworks, optimise procurement operations, and manage service delivery.

What you do

• Define and manage Allianz Technology’s procurement policy framework in alignment with applicable AZ Group standards
• Lead the development and implementation of procurement governance frameworks to ensure compliance with Allianz Technology's standards and policies.
• Monitor adherence to procurement policies and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Oversee operational procurement activities (compliance & performance) which are outsourced to an internal shared service provider, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in processes and service delivery.
• Oversee operational procurement that is internally outsourced, with a focus on compliance, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Financially control service contracts that the central procurement team has with its internal customers to manage Global Sourcing & Procurement balance sheet as internal service provider
• Manage the budget of Global Sourcing & Procurement in AZ Technology
• Provide leadership and guidance to a small team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

What you bring

• Proven experience in procurement governance, operations, and service management within a large organization.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, policies, and compliance standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive strategic initiatives and foster a culture of excellence.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams; experience in Procurement is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
• Min 5 Years of experience in a similar role with the main focus on Governance related activities.
• Studies: Economics, Legal, Supply chain management, Industrial engineering or other technical studies in combination with economics.
