A leading engineering firm in Valladolid is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of System Validation of Hybrid vehicles. In this role, you will ensure that vehicle components behave according to specifications and manage various validation processes. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in engineering with at least 1 year of relevant experience. Proficiency in English and Spanish is required, and knowledge of engine management systems is a plus. This is a permanent contract with opportunities for professional growth.

Formación

• Degree in electronics / automotive / mechanical engineering required.
• 1+ years of experience in the automotive field preferred.
• Knowledge of Engine management systems is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Certify vehicle components through validation procedures.
• Maintain the validation plan and perform risk analysis.
• Manage vehicle fleet for testing and accumulation.

Conocimientos

Degree in electronics / automotive / mechanical engineering

1+ years of experience in the automotive field

Knowledge on Engine management systems

Very good English level (written / spoken)

Proficient in Spanish

Driving license

AVL is searching for candidates to work within the facilities of a major customer in Valladolid integrating the calibration team we have on-site.

Open position for System Validation of Hybrid vehicles. Working in development and production phase.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• System Validation Team will:

  • Certify through specific validation procedures that the vehicle components - engine or parts of hybrid / electric system and software – behave accordingly to specification of the customer

  • Reflash / Record / Reproduce failure cases / Analyze the control data from the vehicle

  • Give assistance to the factory, helping to solve issues in pre-production vehicles

• Your responsibilities:

  • Pilot the convergence of the different validations necessary to be done
  • Elaborate and maintain the validation plan (PVAL)
  • Perform Risk analysis
  • Request for parts and vehicles
  • Management of vehicle fleet (mileage accumulation and emission testing)

YOUR PROFILE:

• Degree in electronics / automotive / mechanical / other engineering
• 1+ years of experience in the automotive field working on related topics (desirable)
• Previous knowledge on engines and automotive technology
• Knowledge on Engine management systems is a plus
• Very good English level (written / spoken)
• Proefficient in Spanish, French is a plus
• Driving license
