About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Senior Consultant with pharmaceutical expertise to join our System Operations team. The successful candidate will provide post-implementation consultancy, design, implement, and support technology solutions, offer L3 support, and ensure optimal performance of critical IT systems such as Veeva Vault, Veeva CRM, and Salesforce. This role requires a deep understanding of pharmaceutical processes, regulatory requirements, and advanced IT knowledge to support our business objectives and optimize our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead configuration initiatives to optimize IT solutions, ensuring they meet evolving business and regulatory needs.
• Provide expert advice and support post-implementation of IT systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards.
• Offer L3 support for Veeva Vault, Veeva CRM, and other critical IT systems like Salesforce, resolving complex issues promptly.
• Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes and systems.
• Conduct assessments to identify system inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Stay updated with latest advancements in IT and pharmaceuticals.

We offer this position in Spain or across Europe, primarily serving clients in Germany.

Ideal candidate profile:

An experienced IT professional with a strong background in managing CRM or Data management systems, adept at troubleshooting complex issues, providing post-implementation support, and optimizing CRM systems to enhance business operations. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are essential. Certifications in IT and project management, along with a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement, are preferred.

Required skills and competencies:

• Proficiency in German and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience with cloud computing, customer interaction, and data analytics in pharma.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Specific experience with CRM systems, especially Veeva.
• Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork ability.
• Responsibility and ability to meet deadlines.

Additional desirable capabilities include:

• Proven senior IT consulting experience, preferably in pharma or healthcare.
• Project management skills, Agile experience a plus.
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
• Knowledge of HTML5, SQL, and Apex.
