Exchange Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Exchange support engineer to join our team.

This role involves managing Exchange services, including policies, monitoring, governance, security controls, and administration.

  1. Manage critical situations for Exchange (On-premises / Online), service health, or unavailability related P1 issues.
  2. Provide guidance and reviews on service health, operations, performance, and scalability.
  3. Offer technical advisory in messaging and collaborate with customers on technology-level planning related to messaging.
  4. Coordinate with Microsoft Premier support on services, hotfixes, patches, and features.
  5. Oversee new features and releases, impact analysis, testing, and user advisories for rollout.
  6. Develop, test, deploy automation scripts, and report on KPIs.
  7. Create and manage recipients, mailboxes, shared mailboxes, mailbox access, size, and archival features.
  8. Manage distribution lists and security groups via the M365 admin portal.
  9. Have knowledge and experience in Exchange Online migration from On-premises (Exchange 2010 / 2013 / 2016) using Hybrid Configuration Wizard or third-party tools.
  10. Work with third-party migration tools like Quest On Demand or BitTitan.
  11. Understand email gateway, mail transport, EOP, and MRS Proxy.
  12. Possess troubleshooting skills in messaging.
  13. Install and configure Azure AD Connect, Windows AD GPO, and Mail Transport.
  14. Have knowledge of DLP, EOP, eDiscovery, Conditional Access, and ATP.
  15. Develop PowerShell scripts for automation tasks.
  16. Manage Outlook Client, SSL Certificates, DAG, SMTP relay agents, and perform patch management of Exchange On-prem servers.
  17. Manage archiving and journaling features.

This role requires at least 2 years of experience in a similar position and fluent English.

The workplace is in Madrid (Hybrid: 60% in-office / 40% remote), with a work schedule of 12x5 shifts (7:00 – 15:00 / 11:00 – 19:00) + on-call duties.
