Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Product Development Specialist to drive the strategic development and management of brand models in Spain. This role involves overseeing the planning, pricing, and operational execution of these models to ensure they meet both customer needs and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification : Gather and analyze local market data, including industry policies, sales performance, macroeconomic trends, and competitor activities. Identify customer trends to provide insights for future product design and development.
- Product Planning and Definition : Assist in planning new models and contribute input on product definition and positioning. Organize test drives for products, analyze results, and support implementation.
- Competitor Analysis : Develop and maintain a competitor database, tracking pricing, configurations, marketing activities, and sales strategies. Conduct regular analysis of competitor market strategies and pricing trends.
- Product Management and Support : Manage daily operations for brand models. Develop and approve training materials, dealer bulletins, and product catalogs. Provide product-related support to dealership networks and address inquiries.
- Communication and Market Support : Review product website content and press releases to ensure accuracy and alignment with branding. Participate in monthly pricing and market analysis to support decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in product management or market analysis in the automotive OEM.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional and cross-cultural teamwork.
- Passion for the automotive industry and familiarity with product lifecycle management.
