We are currently looking for a Senior Data Scientist, for one of our clients, a leading company in the field of software development. We are looking for an analytical mind, someone who has data in their DNA.

What they are looking for
  • Predictive Model Development: Build, refine, and deploy advanced lifetime value (pLTV) models tailored to subscription-based applications, applying a range of machine learning and statistical approaches.
  • Data Management: Partner with data engineering teams to secure well-structured, high-quality data streams, ensuring that the right sources from subscription platforms are identified and continuously maintained.
  • Model Assessment: Conduct thorough validation exercises to evaluate performance and accuracy, and fine-tune models as new datasets and evolving business priorities emerge.
  • Cross-Functional Integration: Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to embed pLTV solutions into existing systems, enabling data-driven decision-making across functions.
  • Monitoring & Maintenance: Establish strong monitoring practices to track ongoing performance, troubleshoot anomalies, and safeguard long-term model reliability.
  • Experimentation & Testing: Design and run controlled experiments (including A/B testing) to measure the effectiveness of strategies informed by pLTV insights.
  • Insight Sharing: Translate technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations, tailoring communication for both specialist and non-technical audiences.
  • Continuous Innovation: Keep pace with emerging trends in machine learning, data science, and customer lifetime value methodologies, introducing new ideas and best practices to the team.
What kind of mind they are looking for
  • Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in data science roles, with demonstrated expertise in designing and deploying predictive models in production
  • STACK: Python and/or R programming, SQL, Machine learning techniques (including regression, classification, time-series forecasting, deep learning, retention models, and others), Spark, PySpark
  • Knowledge in cloud-based analytics platforms such as Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery.
  • Lifetime Value Concepts and hands-on experience analyzing subscription business data and its specific behavioral patterns.
