A luxury hotel chain in Spain is seeking an experienced Sommelier to enhance guest dining experiences through expert wine service and personalized pairing recommendations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of wines, a certification in wine studies, and excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish. Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.
As a Sommelier, you will be responsible for elevating the guest dining experience by providing expert wine service, curating the wine selection, and offering personalised pairing recommendations. You will ensure that every guest enjoys a refined and memorable experience through your deep knowledge of wines, spirits and food pairings. Working closely with the culinary and service teams, you will contribute to seamless operations, staff education and the overall success of the Food & Beverage department.
