We’re looking for Senior Solution Architects to lead, from a technical point of view, the projects we deliver to our end customers. We serve our customers bringing them the highest quality solutions to their needs.

This is your place if you’re used to design SW / App solutions, from the HW level to the user level, understand the meaning of real value and how it can be achieved through perfect designs, excellent execution and customer intimacy. If you like to be involved during whole lifecycle of the project with your technical team to provide the outcomes the customer expects and want to foster innovation and best practices among your colleagues.

Hybrid position (Madrid area, 2 days / week office)

In a typical day as a Solution Architect, you would :

• Lead multiple project teams of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of design and development for complex products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration.
• Manage and expand relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development.
• Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with systems design and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.
• Provide domain-specific expertise and overall software systems leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.
• Drive innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software systems design organization.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.

Education and Experience Required :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications or equivalent.

Typically 8+ years experience.

Knowledge / Competence in the following areas :

• AAA Systems (Telecom) : Experience with 3GPP AAA , OneNDS / LDAP, OAuth / OIDC, and related telecom authentication systems.
• API & Protocol Expertise : Strong in SOAP / XML, HTTP / JSON RESTful APIs , and API authentication mechanisms. Comfortable using OpenSSL for secure communication testing and Wireshark for traffic analysis .
• Frontend and Backend Development :
• Proficient in Java for backend services .
• Skilled in React for building responsive and dynamic frontend interfaces.
• Experience in integrating React frontends with RESTful APIs and handling secure API communications.
• Unix Scripting experience (shellscripting, bash)
• SQL Coding
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL queries.
• Experience with MySQL and familiarity with distributed data platforms such as VoltDB.
• Regex Proficiency : Able to create and understand regular expressions for filtering logs, parsing data, and automation tasks.
• Linux & Cloud Knowledge : Familiar with Linux clustering, basic cloud infrastructure (e.g., VMs, containers, ingress / egress rules), and system-level troubleshooting.

Core Technologies from the Architecture point of view :

• Experience in overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions.
• Designing and integrating software systems running on multiple platform types into overall architecture.
• Understand and work with :
• Istio (Ingress / Egress, mTLS, Proxies, Control Plane)
• Prometheus, Fluent, Jaeger (monitoring, logging, tracing)
• MySQL, VoltDB
• Kubernetes concepts (pods, security domains, CI / CD flows)
• Ansible, Jenkins & GitHub (SCM) integrations and RBAC
• Security Concepts : Good grasp of mTLS, RBAC, security scanning, compliance checks, and logging / alerting pipelines. Experience with SIEM systems, IAM, KMS, and secure API handling.
