A leading software supplier is looking for an Advanced Process Control (APC) Solution Enablement Director. This global role involves defining project scopes, collaborating with teams, and ensuring client satisfaction. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and over 15 years of experience in chemical or refinery operations, with a strong understanding of Advanced Process Control. Proficiency in English and strong customer relationship skills are essential.

We are seeking an Advanced Process Control (APC) Solution Enablement Director (Global Practice Director), either internally or externally. The primary responsibility is to work closely with our Enterprise Solution Consultants (ESCs) and / or Regional Solution Consultants (SCs), providing solution and service execution plans, including large, integrated solutions involving APC. The role also involves collaborating with Professional Services, Product Management, and the Partner Group. This person will define the scope, deliverables, and timeline of all APC proposals and be responsible for their approval in Salesforce.
This is a unique opportunity for an exceptional engineer to take on a high-visibility, global role supporting internal teams and working closely with customers and deployment partners using our modeling, advanced process control, and optimization technologies.
Your Impact
Primarily working with Aspen DMC3 and Batch APC software solutions.
Building solution credibility by gathering data, documenting, and summarizing client requirements, and addressing business process issues that AspenTech solutions will solve.
Assisting sales and services teams in preparing and delivering complex bids and proposals.
Supporting growth of the APC business in GACV and Services Bookings.
Ensuring project milestones, delivery dates, and financial goals are met by project teams and partners.
Maintaining and enhancing client satisfaction and developing opportunities for additional APC solutions.
Collaborating with Sales, Support, CSM, R+D, and Partners to ensure successful project delivery.
Working with the Partner Group to assess DSP applicants and manage deployment resources, following the WINS process from stage 7 to 6.
Participating in new product launches within the APC practice.
Traveling internally approximately two trips per quarter.
What You'll Need
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or extensive hands-on experience in chemical or refinery operations.
15+ years of overall experience.
Experience with Advanced Process Control (APC) is required.
Fast learner with motivation to learn new technologies.
Team player with strong customer relationship skills.
additional languages are a plus.
Ability to obtain a corporate AMEX and travel globally.
