A leading technology consulting firm in Madrid seeks a motivated Software Engineer to join their Growth Lifecycle engineering team. You will be involved in designing and implementing microservices and driving technical decisions. Ideal candidates have backend development experience and strong knowledge of Java or Scala. This role offers the opportunity to work on highly available backend services and collaborate with product and cross-functional partners.

Formación

• Experience designing and implementing microservices using Java or Scala.
• Knowledge in building asynchronous processes for data transformation.
• Experience participating in code reviews and architecture discussions.

Conocimientos

Backend development experience

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join our Growth Lifecycle engineering team. We build and own tier one backend services that must be highly available across regions and handle millions of users. This team is fast‑paced and growing. You will have real influence on architecture decisions and technical direction, not just execute tasks.

What you will do

• Design and implement microservices using Java or Scala
• Build asynchronous processes running in the cloud for data transformation and integrations
• Drive technical design for new initiatives and features
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions with the team
• Provide on call support for critical services on a rotational basis
• Own features end to end and deliver high quality reliable solutions
• Collaborate with product and cross‑functional partners
