Description
As Global Skin Science and Scientific Engagement Senior Manager you will implement a scientific monitoring strategy to ensure the company remains at the forefront of dermatology and clinical innovation. You will serve as the primary scientific contact for key Cx stakeholders, providing scientific strategic guidance and expert support before and after market launch (including Clinical Innovation & Skin Modelization experts, Research Product Leads, Global Regulatory Affairs, Global Medical Affairs, and HCP Marketing).
You will support the development and execution of internal and external scientific communication strategies, including scientific posters and publications in collaboration with Global Galderma Sensitive Skincare Faculty (GSSF) HCPs members, Global Medical Affairs and medical services Indian Hub.
The role reports to Global Head of Skin Science and Scientific Engagement
Key Responsibilities
- Track emerging trends in dermatology and clinical research and identify innovations to drive product development and strategy.
- Provide expert guidance to Clinical Innovation and skin modelization teams
- Leverage superior science into actionable claims and product innovation, ensure scientific accuracy in product development and positioning.
- Adapt scientific dossiers and clinical data for new markets and ensure compliance with regional regulatory requirements
- Co-Chair scientific communications strategy team meetings to ensure alignment of communication plans with medical and marketing plans
- Provide HCP inputs and represent the dermatological and clinical practice voice in the project team. Coordinate cross functional alignment with local Medical Affairs, Global Clinical Operations and skin modelization experts, Medical Expert. At the ideation phase ensure the clinical designs will deliver for the needs of HCPs
Scientific Engagement
- You will drive scientific initiatives linked to key events such as congresses, conferences, and awareness campaigns under the GSSF
- Manage and optimize scientific publications tracking tools, newsletters and the GSSF Portal to ensure seamless scientific knowledge sharing.
- Review and approve scientific content used across the business, including materials developed by Digital and Commercial Excellence team
Skills & Qualifications
- At least 10 years of clinical research experience and skin modelization within a dermal / cosmetic field;
- Strong understanding of cosmetic development process, skin knowledge and stakeholders network influencing Consumer care business
- Able to manage multiple projects with autonomy
- Proven experience of successfully translating scientific information to Dermatologists and other health care professionals
- Extensive experience in managing scientific communication strategy
- Experience working cross-functionally and building collaborative working relationships
- Experience in working in cross-functional project teams including Clinical, skin modelization, Medical, marketing, formulation, analytics and regulatory affairs.
- Ability to influence others in order to ensure needs from project teams / Brand strategies are met
- Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to interact successfully with all levels of personnel, with other divisions and departments, both written and verbal
- Capable of working in a matrix organization, including strong teamwork skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a “can do” attitude is able to take initiative and demonstrate a commitment to teamwork.
