A prominent healthcare company in Barcelona is seeking a (Senior) Solution Architect for the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will shape the platform's strategic direction, provide governance and expert guidance, and architect solutions that align with business needs. Candidates should have 5 years of experience in ServiceNow, a degree in a related field, and proficiency in ITIL methodologies. This role offers a chance to contribute to operational excellence in a healthcare setting.
As a (Senior) Solution Architect ServiceNow you'll play a key role in the Fresenius IT organization focusing on the ServiceNow platform and its modules ITSM, ITOM, ITBM and HRSD. Your expertise in CMDB and HAM/SAM will be instrumental in defining, supporting and coordinating ServiceNow activities across Fresenius Kabi. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders and act as the go‑to expert for multiple ServiceNow initiatives offering architectural guidance and process support.
Shape the strategic direction of the ServiceNow platform and advocate for its adoption throughout Fresenius Kabi.
Provide governance and solution expertise to business units, implementation partners and governance boards ensuring alignment with business needs.
Manage the intake and prioritization of ServiceNow demands and requirements and facilitate alignment within governance structures.
Architect and design ServiceNow solutions that support strategic and operational goals; monitor implementation quality and lead integration testing when necessary.
Coordinate platform rollouts and enhancements working with relevant teams to uphold technical standards and best practices.
Ensure compliance by collaborating with the ServiceNow account team, workers council and other stakeholders.
Help define lifecycle processes for hardware and software asset management focusing on efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Support the use of ServiceNow Discovery and related tools to maintain a reliable and up-to-date asset inventory.
Holds a degree in Computer Science, Digital Information or Business Information Technology with familiarity in ITSM and IT Operations.
Has 5 years of experience in ServiceNow design, management or operations within mid- to large-sized organizations.
Possesses deep knowledge of the ServiceNow platform; relevant certifications are a plus.
Experienced in implementing business and functional processes on ServiceNow through real-world projects.
Strong understanding of ITIL Service Management and related methodologies.
Strong communication and skilled in translating business requirements into technical specifications for ServiceNow teams.
Has a broad understanding of IT technologies including interfaces, coding and UI.
Fluent in English; German skills are beneficial.
Willing to travel globally when needed.
