A leading interactive entertainment company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement new game features for the Meta Product Area in Candy Crush Soda Saga. You will work in a collaborative environment where your programming expertise will be valued. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in C++ with experience in large codebases, and is excited about taking ownership of projects. Strong sense of quality and passion for games is a plus. This role is based in Madrid, Spain.

Senior Software Engineer

Location: Barcelona - King - PG

Overview

You will design and implement existing and new game features for the Meta Product Area in Candy Crush Soda Saga. You will work in a creative, challenging, and collaborative environment where your ideas will be valued along with your programming expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test new game features.
• Maintain and optimize existing game features.
• Take an active part in feature creation.
• Take accountability for the technical metrics of the delivered work items.
• Contribute high quality and well-structured code to the global codebase.
• Act as a role model and mentor to colleagues.

Qualifications

• Highly proficient in C++ with extensive experience working with a large code‑base.
• Strong sense of quality, polish, and pride in the work delivered.
• Excited by taking technical ownership of projects, breaking them down into manageable tasks and ensuring their completion.
• Willingness to share great ideas and collaborate.
• Bonus: Passion for games and desire to create the next big thing.
