Descripción del empleo

The Scope system encompasses five main areas: language design, query optimization, job scheduling, data processing, and data storage. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Scope Compiler team, you will be part of a small team of language designers focused on:

1. Enhancing Scope's scripting capabilities in C# and Python.
2. Compiler engineering tasks such as parsing, type-checking, query planning, and code generation.
3. Influencing the entire language stack, including the heuristic-driven optimizer, the massively parallel distributed scheduler, and the optimized data processing engine.

Qualifications (Required / Minimum Qualifications)

Other Requirements

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including passing the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

• Interest in compilers, language design, or data analytics.
• Experience with C# and Python is a plus.
