A leading manufacturing firm is seeking a Senior Serialisation Architect on a freelance basis. This role focuses on defining how key platforms will integrate into the enterprise ecosystem, requiring strong technical leadership and advisory skills. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in technical architecture, expertise in enterprise integration technologies, and excellent communication skills. Knowledge in pharmaceutical manufacturing or serialisation is an advantage. This position is remote with a start date of January 2026.

Formación

• 10+ years' experience in technical architecture or integration architecture roles.
• Experience with enterprise integration technologies such as APIs and hybrid cloud.
• Understanding of regulatory environments in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Location: Remote (CET preferred)

Conexus is partnered with a leading manufacturing client, that is searching for a Senior Serialisation Architect to join them on a freelance basis.

This role is focused on defining how several key platforms will integrate into the wider enterprise ecosystem, working closely with internal architects, product owners and security teams. This is an advisory and technical leadership role rather than hands-on development.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead for architecture, integration and infrastructure design across multiple Serialisation systems.

• Define end-to-end integration patterns, infrastructure requirements and solution architecture.

• Work with enterprise architecture, IT security, product owners and project managers to ensure all designs align with architectural principles, security policies and hosting strategies.

• Review, challenge and collaborate with vendors on hosting models, integration approaches, security frameworks and technical design.

• Produce architecture diagrams, impact assessments, alternative comparisons and system documentation (Confluence/draw.io).

• Provide technical guidance to project teams and act as the key point of contact for technical decision-making.

Skills & Experience Required

• 10+ years' experience in technical architecture or integration architecture roles.

• Strong experience across enterprise integration technologies (SAP IS, Informatica Cloud, CFT, MFT, APIs, AWS or hybrid cloud).

• Background designing integration solutions in complex, regulated or global environments.

• Solid understanding of modelling approaches (e.g., C4 model) and architecture documentation tools.

• Comfortable working with legacy estates and modern cloud/hybrid architectures.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and vendor-facing skills.

• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or serialisation is a strong advantage.

• Fluent English; additional languages such as Turkish or Spanish are beneficial.
