Senior QA Engineer – Automation | SaaS | International Scale-Up

This is a high-impact opportunity for a Senior QA Engineer to join a globally distributed QA function, collaborating with engineering and product teams across Europe. The Opportunity

Working across high-performing Agile squads, you’ll be embedded in the software delivery lifecycle from day one. Your goal? Champion quality — from creating robust automated test frameworks to influencing architectural changes and ensuring continuous improvement in testing practices.

This is not a role for someone looking to maintain the status quo. You’ll have the autonomy to shape test plans, work hands-on with tools like Cypress, Playwright, and JavaScript/C#, and contribute to both greenfield and legacy product areas including microservices and on-premise deployments.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead automation projects: build and maintain automated test suites for multiple products

• Collaborate with QA, developers, and product owners to ensure high-quality releases

• Identify quality risks and proactively manage the bug backlog for your assigned team

• Drive technical improvements in testing tools and frameworks

• Work with asynchronous and synchronous systems across microservices-based architectures

• Support user-centric testing strategies and maintain test plans linked to Agile stories

What You’ll Bring

• 4+ years in Quality Engineering, including strong automation experience

• Strong coding skills in Java, JavaScript, or C#

• Hands-on with tools like Cypress or Playwright

• Experience working on SaaS platforms, particularly in Agile and microservices environments

• A solid understanding of different testing methodologies and automation types

• Comfortable working independently and showing initiative within technical teams
