We are currently looking for a Senior Mobile Developer for afast-growing startup based in the heart of Barcelona, reinventing online shopping. They blendtechnology, creativity, and data to deliver a seamless and interactive shopping experience for our users.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Android Developer – Team Lead, you will be responsible for both hands-on Android development and the growth of our mobile team. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build a high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly app.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• - Leading the Android development of our mobile application.Support an established team of engineers in their task development experience, personal development, and long-term career growth.
• Designing and implementing new features with a focus on user experience and performance.
• Applying best practices in architecture (MVVM, Clean), testing, and app optimization.Ensure high code quality, testing, and engineering best practices, and overall product performance.
• Contributing to high-impact technical decisions together with the CTO.
• Participating in continuous improvement of development processes (code reviews, CI/CD, automation).
• Staying up to date with Android trends and driving innovation in the app.

️ What We’re Looking For

- 5+ years of experience in Android development using Kotlin (Java is a plus).

- Deep knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack, ViewModeland Navigation Components.

- Solid understanding of scalable architectures: MVVM, Clean Architecture.

- Comfortable with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows (GitHub/GitLab).

- Experience with unit and UI testing (JUnit, Espresso), and advanced debugging.

- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with local databases.
