About the Role
This is a Senior HR Generalist position focused on day-to-day HR management, associate relations, talent acquisition, policy implementation, and regulatory compliance across Europe.
The successful candidate will serve as a trusted partner to business leaders and associates, ensuring effective HR support, legal compliance, and operational excellence across the region.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary HR support to associates and managers across Europe.
- Manage daily HR activities, including associate records, HRIS maintenance, payroll coordination, and onboarding / offboarding.
- Ensure consistent implementation and adherence to HR policies and procedures across the region.
- Coach and guide managers on associate relations, performance management, and development.
Compliance & Legal
- Ensure HR practices comply with European labor laws and regulations.
- Support audits, regulatory reporting, and policy reviews as needed.
- Stay current on changes in labor legislation and advise on potential business impacts.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Partner with hiring managers to support full-cycle recruitment: job postings, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
- Coordinate with external agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure an effective hiring process and strong candidate experience.
- Support headcount planning and organizational design activities across the region.
Requirements
- 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a generalist or HR business partner role supporting multiple European countries.
- Strong understanding of European labor laws and HR practices, particularly in key jurisdictions such as the UK, Germany, and Spain.
- Proven experience in managing HR operations, associate relations, and recruiting in a fast-paced international environment.
- Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are a strong plus.
- Experience working with HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, or similar).
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a dynamic business environment.
