The Opportunity

We’re on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Senior Advisor - People and Culture to join our dynamic team at our Malaga, WA head office.

Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, you’ll play a hands‑on, influential role supporting our leaders and workforce, helping to shape positive employee experiences while delivering practical HR and IR solutions across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Providing expert HR and IR advice to managers and employees across the organisation
  • Partnering with business leaders to understand workforce and industrial needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Managing employee and industrial relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary processes and investigations
  • Assisting with industrial instruments, award and agreement interpretation, and supporting bargaining activities as required
  • Designing and delivering HR initiatives that boost engagement, performance and capability
  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and company policies
  • Maintaining and improving HR systems and processes, including SuccessFactors implementation
  • Supporting a strong, inclusive culture aligned with Carey Group values
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years’ experience in a generalist HR advisory role, ideally within a medium to large organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in Industrial Relations, including award/EA interpretation and managing IR matters
  • Strong working knowledge of employment legislation, HR best practice and HR information systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships at all levels
  • Proven experience managing complex employee and industrial relations cases
  • A degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
  • The ability to work autonomously while thriving in a collaborative team environment
