Job Opportunity : Managing Director Spain (m / f / d)

ordburg is seeking a Managing Director for its Spanish subsidiary, based in Madrid. The company is a well-established German leader in its sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for P&L management, as well as strategic and operational oversight of the company in Spain, ensuring sustainable growth, profitability, and alignment with the global vision.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and optimize financial performance, achieving revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency goals.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the management team and staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Take direct responsibility for sales and lead the commercial team to maximize growth and market share.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate standards across all operations.
• Oversee purchasing, sales, logistics, administration, and finance to maintain high quality and service standards.
• Collaborate closely with the German headquarters to align the subsidiary with global objectives.
• Coordinate with regional group companies to ensure strategic synergies.

Candidate Profile :

• Technical or commercial university degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience within a global corporate structure, with a strong understanding of cross-cultural collaboration, preferably in European or German companies.
• Proven leadership experience as a Managing Director or senior executive, with a successful track record of business growth.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; knowledge of German is advantageous.
• Strong financial management skills, including P&L control.
• Excellent commercial and negotiation skills to build and maintain strategic relationships.
