Your Tasks

• Design and implement end-to-end solutions in SAP S/4HANA Retail covering sales, procurement, logistics and advanced returns management.
• Evolve an online‑channel S/4HANA Retail design to full omnichannel coverage including brick‑and‑mortar store processes.
• Architect system integrations between SAP S/4HANA SAP CAR and other enterprise applications like distributed order management, warehouse management and demand planning as well as point of sale solutions.
• Shape non‑functional architecture for peak retail volumes: performance, scalability, resilience, observability and security/authorisations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide architectural guidance throughout project lifecycles including design, testing, deployment and hyper‑care.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, compliance and sustainability standards.
• Mentor project teams and contribute to the development of best practices around SAP clean‑core concepts.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of consulting and architecture experience with at least 5 years focused on SAP S/4HANA Retail.
• Proven expertise in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution), MM (Materials Management), LE (Logistics Execution) and ARM (Advanced Returns Management) modules.
• Ideally practical hands‑on experience with SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository) POSDTA.
• Strong understanding of retail processes, omnichannel strategies and integration landscapes.
• Strong knowledge of API concepts (REST‑based) & integration patterns.
• Experience (preferred) in working with Global International teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills combined with the ability to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders.
• Very good command of English (both verbal and written); German language skill is a plus.
