Descripción del empleo

The Senior Employee Relations (ER) Manager ensures Amazon’s readiness considering upcoming EU regulations and manages trade unions, employee engagement, and organizational transformation across the EU. This role is part of the Employee Experience and Relations (EXR) team, reporting directly to the EU EXR Risk, Project & Compliance leader. It requires close collaboration with stakeholders at the country, Business lines (BL), pan-EU, and global levels (notably the Global Labor Relations Team). This role enhances Amazon’s compliance, promotes positive employee engagement, and increases agility in managing complex situations.

This position can be based in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Luxembourg, or the UK, with travel up to 30% within the EU.

Key responsibilities include:
EU Regulatory Compliance and Coordination:
- Collaborate with Public Policy to identify and analyze regulations;
- Support impact and gap analysis across EU countries;
- Coordinate country-level preparations;
- Manage EXR efforts related to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD).

Third-Party Strategy Management:
- Maintain insights on relevant developments and trends;
- Develop engagement strategies with Public Policy and Public Relations;
- Provide recommendations on third-party management, especially during significant developments like UK reforms.

Employee Engagement and Pride Campaigns:
- Design training to enhance ER capabilities among HR and senior leaders;
- Collaborate on campaigns to boost employee pride and sentiment, leading “test & learn” initiatives.

Labor Relations Framework Development:
- Develop frameworks for major transformation cycles to standardize and improve stakeholder and associate satisfaction.

Minimum qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Employment Law, Industrial Relations, or related field
- Experience managing Employee and Labor Relations across the EU, with complex stakeholder engagement, including third-party interactions
- Fluency in English and at least one other European language (e.g., French, Spanish, Italian, German)

Preferred qualifications include:
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
