The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience (16-18 years) in DWBI, accompanying strong hands-on management of multiple cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). The position demands a blend of technical proficiency and leadership capabilities, where responsibilities include designing solutions, data migration oversight, and staff education. Formación

Senior Cloud and Data Architect

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Cloud and Data Architect with extensive experience in DWBI, Big Data, and Cloud Technologies to lead and design innovative solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

• 16-18+ years of total experience in DWBI, Big Data, Cloud Technologies
• Implementation experience and hands-on experience in at least 2 Cloud technologies – Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks
• Hands-on experience on at least 2 Hyperscalers (GCP / AWS / Azure) and Big Data processing services (Apache Spark, Beam or equivalent)
• Knowledge of technologies like BigQuery / Redshift / Synapse / Pub Sub / Kinesis / MQ / Event Hubs, Kafka, Dataflow / Airflow / ADF
• Excellent consulting experience and ability to design and build solutions, contribute to RfP responses
• Ability to be a SPOC for technical discussions
• Design experience, entrepreneurship skills to own and lead solutions
• Excellent ETL and Data Modeling skills
• Strong communication skills
• Define monitoring, alerting, deployment strategies
• Provide solutions for resiliency, failover, monitoring
• Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins, Terraform, StackDriver
• Design and implement database solutions and models
• Evaluate client operations for database structural necessities
• Write POVs on technologies and recommend improvements
• Oversee data migration from legacy systems
• Educate staff through training and support
• Respond to system problems promptly

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of database systems and data mining
• Understanding of systems development lifecycle and project management
• Proficiency in data modeling, SQL, database administration
• Experience with data management, reporting technologies, NoSQL, data visualization, predictive analytics
• Organizational and analytical skills
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Leadership and mentoring abilities
