The Senior Data Analyst will lead the data analysis efforts, providing strategic insights and overseeing the execution of complex data projects. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with Power BI and general experience with databases. A strong background in sales, Finance or Sales Compensation is a plus. This role requires an individual with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and communicate data findings effectively. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization, along with proficiency in statistical software and data management tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex data sets using Power BI and other analytical tools to uncover insights
• Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into databases, ensuring data integrity.
• Lead data analysis efforts, managing and executing complex data projects to support business goals
• Develop, maintain and optimize BI dashboards and Reports to support business needs, business decision-making and track key performance indicators
• Create visual representations of data to simplify complex information and aid in decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business reporting requirements and deliver insightful solutions.
• Present key findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders clearly and compellingly.
• Identify and investigate trends, anomalies, and opportunities within data sets to recommend actionable solutions
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance by implementing best practices in data management.
• Identify key metrics and develop data-driven strategies to support and achieve business objectives
• Present findings and strategic recommendations to executive leadership, contributing to high-level decision-making

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred
• Over 5+ years experience with Power BI, including advanced reporting and dashboard creation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets
• Understanding and experience with data warehousing and database management, ensuring data extraction and transformation.
• Proficiency in BI tools (e.g Power BI, Tableau) and SQL for querying and data manipulation. Experience with Power BI is preferred, but candidates with expertise in other BI tools will also be considered.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills to effectively lead tasks and drive initiatives
• Process improvement and documentation experience
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a team
• Excellent Attention to Detail
• Self-motivation with the desire to learn new techniques – relentlessly curious – positive team player
• Experience working with sales, Finance or Sales compensation data is a plus.
