We help clients succeed with regulation and compliance strategies by acting as a digital outsourced regulatory department, supporting the establishment of high-performing internal regulatory functions, especially in emerging technologies like crewed and uncrewed aviation, advanced air mobility, and U-space.

Job title : Senior Consultant Airspace

Location : Madrid

Your Responsibilities :

• Lead airspace and flight procedure design projects, including integration of UAS, implementation of UTM, and development of AAM.
• Adapt ICAO FPD requirements for new entrants (UAS, HAPS, eVTOL) and develop new airspace design proposals for urban and controlled airspace.
• Provide on-the-job training and supervise junior designers.
• Support FPD certification and supervision by authorities.
• Maintain compliance with internal procedures related to FPD services.
• Assist the global consulting team in complex airspace policy and regulatory projects.
• Engage in nationwide airspace modernization programs, advising on airspace/ATM topics.
• Serve as a client-side advisor to authorities and air navigation service providers, maintaining integrity and independence.

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aviation, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, especially with FPD projects and relationships with air navigation authorities.
• Certification in Flight Procedure Design under EASA regulation.

Preferred Skills :

• Proficiency with FPD software/hardware.
• Knowledge of ICAO PBN, PANS-OPS, and AIS topics.
• Familiarity with ICAO, EASA, Eurocontrol documentation on ATM and UAS/UTM.
• Understanding of EU regulations on ATS and ASM.
• Strong time management, self-discipline, and communication skills.
