About the role:

You will be a key individual contributor building a brand new Analytics Engineering function at Storio. This role is about transforming our data landscape and driving significant business value. You will be the essential link between our Data and Business teams. Your focus will be on creating and delivering high quality, reliable, and accessible data models and pipelines. This empowers teams like Analytics, Marketing, and Operations to make smart, data-led decisions. Success in this role means the business achieves its goals because of the trustworthy data you provide.

How you embrace curiosity daily

• You collaborate with business and analytics teams to understand their exact data needs and use cases.
• You translate complex business requirements into clear, technical data solutions and implementation plans.
• You design and deliver business-critical data models and pipelines using tools like DBT and Fivetran.
• You contribute to the semantic data layer, defining and documenting data for easy self-service across the company.
• You ensure all data is clean, accurate, and trustworthy for critical business decision-making.
• You continuously seek opportunities to improve data quality, efficiency, and operational resilience.
• You manage and prioritize your work with stakeholders to execute operational plans effectively.

• You democratize data access, allowing business users to self-serve high-quality analytics and insights.
• You build intuitive and scalable self-service capabilities via tools like Looker, LookML, and HEX.
• You partner with teams to model data for specific domains, such as ingesting and stitching together diverse marketing platform data.
• You create semantic tables for domains like Operations, enabling smooth running of production and logistics.
• You champion data knowledge across the company by writing effective documentation and defining clear metrics.
• You help set and enforce technical standards for code quality, scalability, and test coverage.
• You influence working methods and identify opportunities for optimization in existing systems and processes.

What you bring to the team

• 3 or more years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, or a business-focused technical role.
• Strong interest and proven experience in driving tangible business value from data delivery.
• Expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing robust data models.
• Proficiency in programming with SQL and Python for end-to-end data processing.
• Experience with modern data stack tools (e.g. Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran, Looker).
• A strong problem-solving approach to uncover root causes and propose effective improvements.
• Fluency in English, ready to influence others through clear communication and persuasion.
