What do we do?

We are a Spanish pharmaceutical company engaged in the research and development, manufacturing, and marketing of small molecules and biological medical products.

We also market licensed pharmaceutical products, imaging contrast agents, and other hospital-use and OTC pharmaceuticals through our specialized sales team of over 260 professionals who promote to medical professionals, hospitals, and pharmacies.

What will you do?

• Support financial booking activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and company regulations.
• Manage reconciliations and adjustments to maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with period-end close activities, including closing accounts receivable/payable subledgers, reconciling with the general ledger, closing the general ledger, opening new periods, and closing Asset Accounting (AA).
• Support intercompany reconciliation processes and resolve variances.
• Perform technical Year-End Closing activities such as balance carry forward, number range creation, and closing AA.
• Utilize advanced ERP system knowledge to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain and update the chart of accounts and hierarchies to reflect current business structures and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with local teams and other departments to ensure proper accounting of financial transactions.
• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and best practices, and maintaining policies, procedures, and templates.
• Ensure internal financial controls are in place and adhered to for all processes.

The contract type will be: Indefinite.

The required education is a Bachelor's Degree in Finance & Accounting.
